adult training instructor
Josh has always been dedicated to peak performance, both on and off the field. A standout athlete from an early age, he excelled at Lake Washington High School. At the University of Washington, Josh embraced new challenges, transitioning from an infielder to a pitcher, where he refined his craft and demonstrated his versatility. Adapting to a sidearm delivery in his junior year, Josh showcased resilience and determination—qualities that defined his collegiate career. His standout performances, including a 2.19 ERA in relief appearances and a pivotal five-inning relief win over UC Irvine, earned him a place in the 2005 MLB Draft, selected by the San Diego Padres.
However, Josh's most transformative journey began after back problems and surgery sidelined his baseball career. Drawing from his personal experience overcoming chronic injuries, he shifted his focus to strength and conditioning. Today, Josh specializes in crafting holistic programs designed to optimize movement, build functional strength, and prevent injuries. By emphasizing balance across all muscle groups, his approach not only improves athletic performance but also enhances everyday mobility and long-term health.
